Vegan Pizza

Who doesn’t like PIZZA?  How about pizza with no grease, very little salt, taste delicious, and doesn’t make you feel like bloated poo the next day?  Me, Me, Me!

Enter Vegan Pizza…

Simple, cheap, healthy, delicious, vegan pizza.

We don’t make our own crust even- so here are the easy directions:


  • Pizza Crust Packet (We use Martha White – they have Thin & Thick Crust and they don’t use animal by-products – I don’t follow the instructions on the back, they don’t cook quite right)
  • 3/4 Cup Hot Water
  • 1 tbs EVOO
  • 1/2 Can of Tomato Based Low-Sodium Pizza Sauce
  • Basil
  • Oregano
  • Chopped Veggies of your choice (we use onions, green & red peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms and olives)
  • Almond ‘Cheddar Cheese’
  • Cracked Pepper


  1. Preheat Oven to 475
  2. Mix Pizza Crust Mix & Water until well blended
  3. Shape dough into ball onto pizza pan
  4. Mist or brush crust with oil (love the oil mister) , sprinkle a bit of flour to the top, and cover for 5 minutes
  5. Press the dough into the pizza pan (use flour on fingers to keep from sticking to dough)
  6. Sprinkle Oregano and some pepper onto crust and put in the oven for 8 minutes
  7. Top with Sauce & Veggies
  8. Grate some cheese on top
  9. Sprinkle basil, oregano & pepper on top of all
  10. Cook for an additional 15-20 minutes
  11. cut and EAT

Kassie– 10 out of 10 – Taste WAY better than one from the frozen section and is WAY cheaper than one from the pizza restaurant.  Win

  1. Ok, where are you getting that almond cheddar cheese? My faux cheese never melts like that! Apparently I need to step up my “cheese” game.

  2. Thanks! I think I’ll stop by whole foods today and see if I can find it. It looks fantastic. We may be having veggie pizza for dinner. 🙂
